True, for example, hydrogen peroxide (liquid):

H₂O₂ + H₂O ⇄ H₃O⁺ + HO₂⁻

HO₂⁻ + H₂O ⇄ H₃O⁺ + O₂²⁻

(the resulting solution is weakly conducting)

Water containing large amounts of Mg2+and Ca2+ions is said to be hard because it is hard to make soap lather in the water. True
mafiozo [28]

Answer:True

Explanation:

Water is said to be hard when it contains calcium ions or magnesium ions dissolved in it. These ions are able to react with soap in such a way that the soap is prevented from forming lather with the water. Hard water occurs when water passes over calcium or magnesium bearing minerals and dissolves some of it. Hardness due to the presence of calcium ions can easily be removed by boiling the water.

How many molecules of carbon dioxide are present in 4.81042 mol of that substance?
Korvikt [17]

1 mol is equal to 6.02×10∧23 molecules.

first put in the calculator 4.81042 × 6.02 then hit EXP or 2nd then EE. (Depends on the type of calculator). then put in 23 and press equal.

The calculator will says 2.89587284×10∧24.

So the answer will be 2.90×10∧24.

I mot sure if the 2.90 is correct but it is close to the answer. it really depends how you want to round it. As long as the decimals are close the answer doesn't matter. Hope this helps. Please mark as Brainliest.
