Henri Becquerel is the first scientist who discover evidence of radioactivity.
Maria Curie is one of the most famous scientists in the world who invented the word "radioactivity". She discovered that radioactive materials gave out rays and discovered two elements: polonium and radium, which are extraordinary active.

NEED ASAP THANK YOU!
Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

d. 10

Explanation:

The 24 means the atomic mass and twelve means the number of electrons. You subtract the number of electrons from the atomic mass. 24-12=12

Then, since there's +2, you subtract 2 from 12 which equals 10 which means there are 10 electrons now.

The confusing thing is that + means subtract and - means add here.

Hope this helps.

What is the Bronsted acid of H2PO4- + OH-. ---- HPO42- + H2O?
RoseWind [281]

Answer:

The bronsted- Lowry acid is H₂PO₄⁻

Explanation:

Bronsted-Lowry acid donates a proton (H⁺)

H₂PO₄⁻ + OH⁻ → HPO₄²⁻ + H₂O

In the reaction above, H₂PO₄⁻ is donating the proton to OH⁻ resulting in H₂O and the deprotonated species. This makes it a bronsted-Lowry acid.

An atom gains an electron from another atom. Hence, option B is the correct answer.

What is an atom?

An atom is a particle of matter that uniquely defines a chemical element. An atom consists of a central nucleus that is usually surrounded by one or more electrons.

When an atom shares electrons with another atom then it results in the formation of a covalent bond.

Whereas when an atom transfer electrons from one atom to another then it results in the formation of an ionic bond.

When the nucleus of an atom splits then it represents a nuclear fission reaction and energy is released during this process.

Hence, option B is the correct answer.
