Answer: Option (B)

Explanation:

Gas giants are the outer planets that are dominantly comprised of hydrogen and helium. They are Jupiter and Saturn, Whereas ice giants are the outer planets that are composed of mostly ice and ammonia and methane also is present. They are Uranus and Neptune. Both these giant planets are bigger in size in comparison to earth.

The ice giants are far away from the sun, so its very cold and there is abundant ice in the planet.

The main differences between gas giants and ice giants is that, there is the presence of a thick layer of liquid metallic hydrogen in interior part of the gas giants.

The gas giants contains approximately 90% of hydrogen, so when one travels through the interior of this planets, it can be observed that the atmospheric pressure is so extreme that it converts all of its gas into a very highly dense liquid.

Thus, the correct answer is option (B).

Vitek1552 [10]

Answer:

v = 54m/s

Explanation:

a = \frac{v - u}{t}

a = 7m/s²

u = 12m/s

t = 6s

7 = (v-12)/6

v - 12 = 42

v = 54m/s
