Answer: higher mean annual rainfall and temperatures.

Explanation:

Chemical weathering is the set of destructive processes through which rocky materials go trhough. These processes cause changes in the color, texture, composition, firmness and shape of the material.

It should be noted that this happens when the rocks come into contact with atmospheric agents such as oxygen and carbon dioxide.

Another important aspect is that rocks are able to break up more easily thanks to this type of weathering, since the mineral grains within the rock lose adherence and dissolve better under the action of some physical agents, such as humidity (rainfall included) and temperature.

Therefore:

Chemical weathering is greatest under conditions of higher mean annual rainfall and temperatures.

there is no pressure variations throughout the medium

there is no change in density

they can propagated in liquid soild but not gases

Two radio antennas A and B radiate in phase. Antenna B is a distance of 140 m to the right of antenna A. Consider point Q along
allsm [11]

Explanation:

a) 120m

b) since Q is the first order constructive interference, the distance between mid point of antennas and Q is 0.5 wavelengths (appear in A-Level question). so the wavelength should be (2)(30) =60m

60m

What is the current drawn if the voltage is 9V and resistance is 1.5 ohms ?
zhuklara [117]
Ohm's Law => V = I/R where
V stands for voltage,
I stands for Current
R stands for resistance.

ATQ
we know V = 9 volts
and R = 1.5 ohm's
so we need to find I.

Lets modify our formula little bit
we know V = IR which we can write as I = V/R
so lets substitute the values in the formula.
I = 9/1.5
I = 6 A

Correct Option is A.

Andrew [12]
At first glance, it seems that it would be more work to climb the staircase with the greater incline. But on further reflection, it is obvious that climbing the complete length of each staircase involves doing the same amount of work against gravity, because the vertical distance is the same. The answer is that each involves doing the same amount of work against gravity.
