Answer with explanation:

Mean,

\mu=143\\\\X_{1}=111.6\\\\X_{2}=174.4

Standard Deviation \sigma=15.7

Total Population = 200

Formula for Z Score and calculation of two Z scores.

Z_{1}=\frac{\bar X_{1} - \mu}{\sigma}\\\\Z_{1}=\frac{111.6-143}{15.7}\\\\Z_{1}=\frac{-31.4}{15.7}=-2

Similarly,

Z_{2}=\frac{174.4-143}{15.7}\\\\Z_{2}=\frac{31.4}{15.7}=2

So the two values that is , 111.6 and 174.4 , lies 2 standard deviation on left and 2 standard deviation on the right of mean.

→With the Help of Z table, the conclusion can be drawn that, 95 % of Data will lie within two standard deviation that is above and Below the Mean.

Option D: About 95%

What is the closed linear form for this sequence given a1 = 0.3 and an + 1 = an + 0.75?
german

Answer:

The closed linear form of the given sequence is a_{n}=0.75n-0.45

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the first term a_{1}=0.3 and a_{n+1}=a_{n}+0.75

To find the closed linear form for the given sequence

The formula for arithmetic sequence is

a_{n}=a_{1}+(n - 1)d  (where d is the common difference)

The above equation is of the given form  a_{n+1}=a_{n}+0.75

Comparing this we get d=0.75

With a_{1}=0.3 and d=0.75

We can substitute these values in a_{n}=a_{1}+(n - 1)d

a_{n}=a_{1}+(n - 1)d

=0.3+(n-1)(0.75)

=0.3+0.75n-0.75

=-0.45+0.75n

Rewritting as below

=0.75n-0.45

Therefore a_{n}=0.75n-0.45

Therefore the closed linear form of the given sequence is a_{n}=0.75n-0.45

The monthly budget for the front of the house is $9,000. You spent 6% of the budget on fresh flowers. How much did you spend on
adelina 88 [10]

Answer:

$540

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we are paying 6% of the money on flowers we need to multiply our budget by .06. Let x equal the amount of money we payed for flowers.

x=9000*.06

Multiple the two numbers

x=540

We payed $540 for the flowers

If the area of a square plot of<br> land is 9 miles squared, what is<br> the perimeter of this land?
tatyana61 [14]

Answer:

\huge{ \fbox{ \sf{12 \: miles}}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Area of a square plot = 9 miles

<u>First</u><u>,</u><u> </u><u>finding</u><u> </u><u>the</u><u> </u><u>length</u><u> </u><u>of</u><u> </u><u>the</u><u> </u><u>land</u>

\boxed{ \sf{Area \: of \: a \: square \:  =  \:  {length}^{2} }}

\mapsto{ \sf{9 =  {length}^{2} }}

\mapsto{ \sf{ {length}^{2}  = 9}}

\mapsto{ \sf{ \sqrt{ {(length)}^{2} }} =  \sqrt{9} }

\mapsto{ \sf{length = 3 \: miles}}

<u>Now</u><u> </u><u>,</u><u> </u><u>finding</u><u> </u><u>the</u><u> </u><u>perimeter</u><u> </u><u>of</u><u> </u><u>the</u><u> </u><u>land</u> :

\boxed{ \sf{perimeter \: of \: a \: square = 4 \: * length}}

\mapsto{ \sf{perimeter \:  =  \: 4 \:  * \: 3}}

\mapsto{ \sf{perimeter \:  = 12 \: miles}}

The perimeter of the land = 12 miles

Hope I helped!
