The line will overlap line AB, but its segments will simply extend further.

R -> R' = (-9,-3)

S -> S' = (6,3)

T -> T' = (9,3)

U -> U' = (6,-3)

AB -> A'B' = A'(-7.5, 0) and B'(7.5, 0)

Line AB and A'B' will both lie on the x axis.

DanielleElmas [232]

Step-by-step explanation:

The initial image of the photo is 2 in by 4 in.  The mat is 4 in by 6 in.

The new image is dilated by a scale of 2.  So we double the dimensions.  The new photo is 4 in by 8 in.  The new mat is 8 in by 12 in.
