10x + 5y ≥ 80
x + y ≤ 12

It will not be a system of linear equations, but inequalities. If 'x' stands for baby sitting and 'y' stands for gardening hours in week, then that's how it goes. (what i wrote on top).

hope this helps, God bless!

2 + 6x = 1 - X<br> Please help
Fynjy0 [20]

Answer:

-1/7

Step-by-step explanation:

The first step is to isolate the variable, x. To do so, add x to both sides. This gives you the new equation: 2 + 7x = 1.

Now, subtract 2 from both sides to further isolate the variable, giving you 7x = -1.

Divide both sides by 7, giving you the final equation of x = -1/7.

A line has a slope of 1and passes through the point
Jobisdone [24]

\huge\boxed{y=x-3}

Start with point-slope form, where m is the slope and (x_1, y_1) is a known point on the line.

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

Substitute in the known values.

y-3=1(x-6)

Distribute the 1 to the (x-6).

y-3=x-6

Add 3 to both sides.

\boxed{y=x-3}

Britta bought some carrots and apples for $24.80. A carrot and an apple cost .90 cents all together. She bought more carrots tha
MrRissso [65]

Answer:

20

Step-by-step explanation:

24.80-6.80=$18   that's what Britta spent on equal number of carrots and apples because $6.80 was spent on extra carrots only.

18/ .90=20 that means she got 20 apples and 20 carrots before she added $6.80 to buy some extra carrots

Thus, the number of apples Britta bought = 20
