Answer: In the bottom layer.

Explanation:

The rule of the fossil formation is that the first layer that is formed is at the bottom of the stack. The second layer contains less organism than the first layer.

This is the principle of super position that the first layer formed will be at the bottom and the newest layer formed will be at the top of the soil in the stacking.

Hence, most of the fossils will be found in the oldest layer of the soil which means at the bottom of the soil.

Arturiano [62]
These are main components of Industrial Smog. Smog is air pollutant. Main sources of Smog are 1) Coal, 2) Transportation Emission, 3) Natural Causes. Those areas are mainly effected which are located in Industrial Zones and those which has high traffic density. Cities like Delhi, Beijing, London, Maxico City, Log Angeles, Tehran e.t.c are reported to be highly effected by smog. Among these polutants, CO₂ is the main source of Global Warming, CO has adverse effects on human health as it has 200 times more potency to bind with Hemoglobin compared to Oxygen, SO₂ when present in air reacts with water producing acid rain e.t.c.

Write the net ionic reaction that occurs upon the addition of hno3 to a solution which contains methylamine (ch3nh2) and methyla
ra1l [238]
Hello!

First, HNO₃ dissociates in the following way:

HNO₃(aq) → H⁺(aq) + NO₃⁻(aq)

Next, there is a neutralization reaction with Methylamine:

H⁺(aq) + CH₃NH₂(aq) → CH₃NH₃⁺(aq)

Finally, the formed methylammonium ion weakly dissociates in the following way:

CH₃NH₃⁺(aq) + H₂O(l)  ⇄ H₃O⁺(aq) + CH₃NH₂ (aq)

From this sequence of reactions, we can see that the resulting solution would be slightly more acidic than the initial one, as the buffer solution resists the addition of strong acid.

Have a nice day!

Carbon monoxide prevents __________. A. the breakdown of other chemicals in the liver B. fuel from igniting at the wrong time C.
aksik [14]

Answer: C. the blood from carrying oxygen to the tissues of the body.

The carbon monoxide is a poisonous gas, it inhibits the ability of the hemoglobin to distribute oxygen. Hemoglobin is a protein in the red blood cells. The function of the hemoglobin is to distribute oxygen throughout the body. It has high affinity for oxygen. The carbon monoxide replaces oxygen in the hemoglobin. This results in respiratory and cardiac arrest.
