Your problem just used the distributive property of subtraction with the 4.

Your number in the box should be a 4.

4(8 - 3) = 4(8) - 4(3) is the equation. It's the same as:
4 * (8 - 3) = (4 * 8) - (4 * 3).

the number of words x tina can type per minute is at least 50. write and graph an inequality to describe this situation
marshall27 [118]
I can only write a inequality here but here goes...
since she can atleast type 50 per minute that means the equation would be x >50 (you would also put the line under the > because it can equal it) (x is the amount she can type)

jonathan has a collection of 400 marbles. Blue marbles make up17%, percent of his collection. How many blue marbles does Jonatha
dsp73
17% of 400 is 68.
Another way u can do it is 17% of 100 four times since its easier to do.
17% of 100 is 17.
we have to do this 4 times since 100 goes into 400 four times.
So 17*4 =68

Please help iam lost
Goryan [66]

Answer:

x = 4.

Step-by-step explanation:

I am assuming that you want to find the values of x and that WXYZ is a parallelogram.

In a parallelogram opposite sides are equal, therefore:

11x + 1 = 19x - 31

1 + 31 = 19x - 11x

32 = 8x

x = 32/8 = 4.
