Answer:

A rover uses 4GHz frequency to transmit a picture. The rover’s transmission power is 200W. Distance = 55*10^9m. The transmission antenna gain is 10,000 and the receiving antenna gain is 100,000. What is the received signal strength at the Earth’s station, in W (assume Pi = 3.14)?

= 31.5 db

Explanation:

Path loss = 20㏒₁₀(4πdf / c)

               = 20㏒₁₀(d) + 20㏒₁₀(f) - 20㏒₁₀(4π / c)

               = 20㏒₁₀(55 × 10⁹) + 20㏒₁₀(4000) - 147.5

               = (20 × 77.4) + 20 ×  3.6 - 147.5

               = 154 + 72 - 147.5

               = 78.5 DB

Received signal strength(power)

Pr = Pt + Gt + Gr - Lp dBW

= 20 + 40 + 50 - 78.5

= 31.5 db

the motion of a particle along a straight line is represented by the position versus time graph above. at which of the labeled p
atroni [7]

Point A has the largest magnitude of acceleration as compared to other points on the position verses time graph.

On the graph, A is the point where magnitude of the acceleration of the particle is greatest as compared to other positions on the graph because the height of point A is the largest as compared to other points of the graph.

The graph shows at which point acceleration of an object is higher and lower so we can conclude that point A has the largest magnitude of acceleration as compared to other points on the position verses time graph.

A 19.0-kg cart is moving with a velocity of 7.20 m/s down a level hallway. A constant force of -13.0 N acts on the cart and its
gulaghasi [49]

Answer:

a. -369.36J

b. -123.9J

c. 9.52m

Explanation:

From the expression for kinetic energy

K. E=1/2mv^2

Since the mass is constant, but the velocity changes. Hence the change in kinetic energy is

K.E=1/2*19(3.6²-7.2²)

K.E= -369.36J

b. to determine the workdone by the force,we determine the distance moved.

But the acceleration is from

F=ma ,

a=f/m

a=-13/19

0.68m/s²

the distance moved is

s=v²/2a

s=3.6²/2*0.68

s=9.52m

Hence the work done is

W=force * distance

W=-13*9.52

W=-123.9J

d. the distance moved is

s=v²/2a

s=3.6²/2*0.68

s=9.52m

The Achilles tendon connects the muscles in your calf to the back of your foot. When you are sprinting, your Achilles tendon alt
drek231 [11]

Answer:

5 mm

Explanation:

Youngs's modulus (Y) is described by the following expression:

Y=\frac{F*L}{\Delta L*A}

Where F is the force exerted on the tendon, L is its length, A is its area and ΔL is its change in length (stretching).

The force in this case is 8 times the weight of the runner:

F= 8*m*g\\F= 8*70*9.8\\F=5488 N

Therefore, the change in length of the tendon is given by:

\Delta L=\frac{F*L}{Y*A}\\\Delta L=\frac{5488*0.15}{0.15*10^{10}*1.1*10^{-4}}\\\Delta L= 0.004989 m

the runner's Achilles tendon will stretch by 0.004989 m, which is roughly 5 mm.
