Its a chemical change. Think of it in a way of being able to change it back to its original state. You cant change something back to its original state if its a chemical change. You can however turn something back to its original state when it under goes a physical change.

A student throws a 0.22 kg rock horizontally at 20.0 m/s from 10.0 m above the ground. Find the initial kinetic energy of the ro
LekaFEV [45]

Answer:

44J

Explanation:

Given parameters:

Mass of rock  = 0.22kg

Initial velocity  = 20m/s

Distance moved  = 10m

Unknown:

Initial kinetic energy of the rock  = ?

Solution:

To solve this problem, we need to understand that kinetic energy is the energy due to the motion of a body.

It is mathematically expressed as;

     Kinetic energy  = \frac{1}{2} m v²

m is the mass

v is the velocity

   Kinetic energy  =  \frac{1}{2} x 0.22 x 20²   = 44J

Momentum question. This is an inelastic collision, so

m1v1+m2v2=Vf(m1+m2)
Vf=(m1v1+m2v2)/(m1+m2)=[(120kg)(0m/s)+(60kg)(2m/s)] / (120kg+60kg)
Vf=120kg m/s  /   180kg
Vf=0.67m/s

A person walks 100m in 5
RUDIKE [14]
Answer:
20.35m per minute
Or
1,221.43 per hour

100/5=20
200/7= 28.57
50/4= 12.5

20+28.57+12.5= 61.07

61.07/3= 20.35m per minute

Or

20.35 x 60= 1,221.43m per hour
