Answer (could be interpreted differently): Renaissance artists expressed the idea of humanism in their art by not making their pieces solely on the idea of religion. They made their work proportional and and symmetrical unlike religious works that are more disproportional. Renaissance art emphasized common human needs, and that fact that people seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.
