The measure of angles of triangle are 96 degree, 36 degree and 48 degrees

Solution:

The ratio of the measures of the angles in a triangle is 8:3:4

Let the first angle be 8x

Let the second angle be 3x

Let the third angle be 4x

We know that,

sum of all angles in triangle is 180 degrees

Therefore,

8x + 3x + 4x = 180

15x = 180

x = 12

Thus,

First angle = 8x = 8(12) = 96

second angle = 3x = 3(12) = 36

third angle = 4x = 4(12) = 48

Thus measure of angles of triangle are 96 degree, 36 degree and 48 degrees

Using the Pythagorean Theorem, find the distance between the points.
Paha777 [63]

Answer:

(5,7,8.6)

Step-by-step explanation:

Create a line on each the x axis and the y axis which intersects at a right triangle. The x axis line is 7 squares and the y axis is 5 squares. Now you can use the Pythagorean theorem.

a^2+b^2=c^2

7^2+5^2=c^2

49+25=c^2

74=c^2

8.6=c

Explain it so I can better understand it
lorasvet [3.4K]
The question is essentially asking who's equation works better (Part A) and to explain why (Part B).
Marcella is suggesting the equation 6r + 12 = 683.88
Julia is suggesting the equation 6(r + 12) = 683.88

Six people are on the trip.
It is $12 PER person to rent a floatation device.
The total cost of the trip was $683.88.

Hope I've helped!

Answer:

a = 9 / 7

step by step explanation:

9 / - a + 15 = 8

Determined the defined range

9 / ( - a ) + 15 = 8 , a ≠ 0

subtract 15 from each side

9 / - a + 15 - 15 = 8 - 15

calculate the difference

9 / - a = - 7

multiply both side of equation by - a

9 / - a × - a = - 7 × - a

9 = 7 a

divide each side by of equation by -7

9 / 7 = 7 a / 7

9 / 7 = a

swap the side of equation . ( optional )

a = 9 / 7

Lerok [7]
If 3/5 are action and 1/4 are comedy then:

(3/5)+(1/4) are action or comedy

To add/subtract fractions you need a common denominator...

(3/5)*(4/4)+(1/4)(5/5)

(12/20)+(5/20)

17/20

So 17/20 (85%) of his collection are action or comedy not 4/9...
