Answer:

The value of x for given log equation is 17. 5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The log function is

2 log 4 x - log 49 = 2

Or, 2 log 4 x - log (7 × 7) = 2

Or, 2 log 4 x - log 7² = 2

<u>from Log property</u>

Loga^{b} = b Log a

So, 2 log 4 x - 2 log 7 = 2

Taking 2 from Left hand side of equation

Or, 2 × (log 4 x - log 7) = 2

Or, (log 4 x - log 7) = \dfrac{2}{2}

Or, (log 4 x - log 7) = 1

<u>Again from Log property</u>

Log m - Log n = Log \dfrac{m}{n}

So, (log 4 x - log 7) = 1

Or,  Log \dfrac{4 x}{7} = 1

Now,<u> Taking anti Log , we get</u>

So, \dfrac{4 x}{7} = antilog 1

i.e \dfrac{4 x}{7} = 10^{1}

Or, 4 × x = 10 × 7

∴  x = \dfrac{70}{4}

Or, x = 17.5

So, The value of x = 17.5

Hence, The value of x for given log equation is 17. 5  Answer

irga5000 [103]

Answer:

56 times (This is still assuming 1 isnt an option)

Step-by-step explanation:

0,2,3,4,5,6,7,8

There are 8 options, 3 of which are greater than 5

3/8

3/8 = x/150

3*150 = 450

8 * x = 8x

8x = 450

450/8  = 56.25

56 times

Alchen [17]

Answer:

y = 6\cdot z

y - Number of times that Noah volunteered at pet shelter.

z - Number of times that Keith volunteered at pet shelter.

Step-by-step explanation:

After reading the statement of the problem, the following variables are described below:

x - Number of times that Jason volunteered at pet shelter.

y - Number of times that Noah volunteered at pet shelter.

z - Number of times that Keith volunteered at pet shelter.

The following two relations are presented herein:

Noah and Jason

y = 3\cdot x

Jason and Keith

x = 2\cdot z

The relationship between the number of times Noah and Keith volunteered is:

y = 6\cdot z

Ainat [17]

Answer:

The test statistic Z = 3.125

Step-by-step explanation:

<em>Given Population proportion P = 0.25</em>

<em>Given sample size 'n' = 696</em>

<em>Sample proportion 'p⁻' = 0.30</em>

Test statistic

                 Z = \frac{p^{-}  -P}{\sqrt{\frac{P Q}{n} } }

                 Z = \frac{0.30-0.25}{\sqrt{\frac{0.25 X 0.75}{696} } }  = 3.125

<u><em>Final answer</em></u>:-

The test statistic Z = 3.125
