Cirrus clouds are light feathery and wispy that is usually made of ice crystals. These clouds are first sign of a upper level jet streak or warm front.
These are the most common form of high level clouds.They are mostly found at heights above 20,000 feet. They contain ice crystals that is formed from freezing water droplets.
