It is a well known fact that the ocean modifies the climate favorably so as to keep the ambient temperature warmer than it usually is inland away from the ocean so that is why the nightime drop in temperature will be less near the sea than inland.

The temperature drops in the towns nearby the seaside is less as compared to the towns that are away from seaside because <u><em>the water has high heat capacity as compared to land and it compensates the heat in the nearby areas to keep them warm. </em></u>

Further Explanation:

During the day time, the water as well as the land is heated by the light coming from the sun. The almost equal amount of energy is received by water as well as the land. But the heat capacity of the water is more than the heat capacity of water and due to this water can retain more heat as compared to that of the land.

At night, when the temperature of the air above the surface decreases, the area away from the sea side uses the heat retained by the land to compensate the temperature drop but the amount of heat is very less.

Therefore, the drop in temperature in the area away from the seaside is comparatively higher.

I the areas near the seaside, the cold air above the land absorbs heat from the water which has higher amount of heat and the temperature drop of the air is compensated significantly. This leads to a very slight difference in the night temperature as compared to the day temperature in the towns near seaside.

Thus, the temperature drops in the towns nearby the seaside is less as compared to the towns that are away from seaside because <u><em>the water has high heat capacity as compared to land and it compensates the heat in the nearby areas to keep them warm. </em></u>

A current of 17.0 mA is maintained in a single circular loop of 2.00 \mathrm{~m} circumference. A magnetic field of 0.800T is di
poizon [28]

The magnetic moment is -

M = 5.5 x 10^{-3} Am^{2}.

We have current carrying single circular loop placed in a magnetic field

parallel to the plane of the loop.

We have to determine the Magnetic moment of the loop.

<h3>What is the formula to calculate the magnetic moment of loop?</h3>

The formula to calculate the magnetic moment of the loop is -

M = NIA

where -

N -  Number of turns

I - Current in the loop

A - Area of the loop

According to the question, we have -

I = 17mA = 0.017A

Circumference (C) = 2 meters

B = 0.8 T

Now -

C = 2

2\pir = 2

\pir = 1

r = \frac{1}{\pi }

r = 0.32

Using the formula -

M = NIA

M = \piNIr^{2}

M = 3.14 x 1 x 0.017 x 0.32 x 0.32

M = 3.14 x 4 x 0.017

M = 5.5 x 10^{-3} Am^{2}

Hence, the magnetic moment is -

M = 5.5 x 10^{-3} Am^{2}

A cannonball fired with an initial speed of 40 m/s and a launch angle of 30 degrees from a cliff that is 25m tall.
KATRIN_1 [288]
We know that the ball traveled with an initial velocity of 40m/s at a 30° angle above the horizontal. The image below shows how much of this velocity was upward velocity and how much was horizontal velocity. Upward velocity was 20 m/s and horizontal velocity was √(40) m/s, or 2√(10) m/s. We get these numbers from the ratios of the 30-60-90 triangle.

a) What is the flight time of the cannonball?
The flight time of the cannonball can be found by finding the time at which the upward velocity equals zero (the top of the ball's trajectory) and then finding how long it took to hit the ground after that point.

To find where upward velocity equals zero:
V = Vi - a(t) ,  where V equals vertical velocity, Vi equals initial vertical velocity, and a equals acceleration due to gravity (-9.8 m/s²)
V = 20 - 9.8(t)          Set V equal to zero, because we want to find the moment when the ball reached the peak of its travel path
0 = 20 -9.8t         Add 20 to both sides, then divide by 9.8
t = 2.041
This is the point where the ball was at the top of its trajectory.

At this point, How high was the ball?
d = Vi x t + (1/2) (a) (t²) , where d is distance traveled
d = 20(2.041) + (1/2) (-9.8) (2.041²)
d = 20.388
Remember that the ball was launched from 25 m above the ground, so add 25 to the height that the ball traveled from this point:
25 + 20.388 = 45.388
This was the height the ball reached before it started to come down. Plug this into the distance formula to see how long it took to hit the ground. Remember that this is similar to the ball being dropped from rest from this height, since vertical velocity was zero.
45.388 = (0)(t) - (1/2) (-9.8) (t²)    Multiply both sides by (-2/-9.8)
9.26 = t²
t = 3.043
We know that it took 2.041 seconds to reach the peak height, and 3.043 seconds to come down.
Total flight time = 2.041 + 3.043 = 5.084 seconds

Remember that, neglecting air resistance, the ball will maintain the same horizontal velocity the entire time. This means the horizontal velocity was 10√2 during the entire flight time.
distance = velocity * time = 5.084 * 10√2 = 32.154

a cepheid variable star is a star whose brightness alternately increases and decreases. suppose that cephei joe is a star for wh
MrRissso [65]

After one day, the rate of increase in Delta Cephei's brightness is;0.46

We are informed that the function has been used to model the brightness of the star known as Delta Cephei at time t, where t is expressed in days;

B(t)=4.0+3.5 sin(2πt/5.4)

Simply said, in order to determine the rate of increase, we must determine the derivative of the function that provides

B'(t)=(2π/5.4)×0.35 cos(2πt/5.4)

Currently, at t = 1, we have;

B'(1)=(2π/5.4)×0.35 cos(2π*1/5.4)

Now that the angle in the bracket is expressed in radians, we can use a radians calculator to determine its cosine, giving us the following results:

B'(1)=(2π/5.4)×0.3961

B'(1)≈0.46
