Density is a physical property. It's measured and doesn't change the object chemically.

Why there are only 20 amino acids, although a amino acid is coded by a single codon with three bases. That means by permutation,
snow_lady [41]
In nature there are many more variations amino acids than the simple 20 found in humans. However, when analyzing the human genome sequence, there is a code for all 64 permutations (4^3), only some of them share amino acids. This is a safe-guard against mutations of one or two nucleotides. For example, the amino acid Alanine is coded with four different nucleotide sequences: GCA, GCC, GCG, GCU. Also some amino acids code the same like UUU &UUC

What is the overall process of balancing an equation?
monitta

Answer:

You need to make sure the number of atoms of each element on the reactant side is equal to the number of atoms of each element on the product side. In order make both sides equal, you will need to multiply the number of atoms in each element until both sides are equal. :)

A student dissolves of styrene in of a solvent with a density of . The student notices that the volume of the solvent does not c
raketka [301]

Answer:

0.576M and 0.655m

Explanation:

<em>...Dissolves 15.0g of styrene (C₈H₈) in 250.mL of a solvent with a density of 0.88g/mL...</em>

<em />

Molarity is defined as moles of solute (Styrene in this case) per liter of solution whereas molality is the moles of solute per kg of solvent. Thus, we need to find the moles of styrene, the volume in liters of the solution and the mass in kg of the solvent as follows:

<em>Moles styrene:</em>

Molar mass C₈H₈:

8C = 12.01g/mol*8 = 96.08g/mol

8H = 1.005g/mol* 8 = 8.04g/mol

96.08g/mol + 8.04g/mol = 104.12g/mol

Moles of 15.0g of styrene are:

15.0g * (1mol / 104.12g) = 0.144 moles of styrene

<em>Liters solution:</em>

250mL * (1L / 1000mL) = 0.250L

<em>kg solvent:</em>

250mL * (0.88g/mL) * (1kg / 1000g) = 0.220kg

Molarity is:

0.144 moles / 0.250L =

<h3>0.576M</h3>

Molality is:

0.144 moles / 0.220kg =

<h3>0.655m</h3>

How can telescopes aid visualizing the electromagnetic spectrum?what is the “best place” for telescopes “to detect most radiation” and why?

\huge \bold \green{answer} \\

Astronomers use telescopes that detect different parts of the electromagnetic spectrum. Each type of telescope can only detect one part of the electromagnetic spectrum. There are radio telescopes, infrared telescopes, optical (visible light) telescopes and so on.

The best place to detect most radiation is above the blocking atmosphere, so some telescopes are put in orbit around the Earth. Even visible light is distorted by the atmosphere, so clearer pictures can be got from orbiting telescopes.
