I believe the muscles of pectoralis major acts as an adductors. Adductor muscles are muscles that draw a part of the body toward its median line or toward the axis of an extremity, especially the powerful muscles of the human thigh; adductor longus, adductor brevis, and adductor magnus. The pectoralis major is a broad, fan-shaped muscle that originates from the medial clavicle, sternum, and costal cartilages of the first through six ribs and the external oblique muscular aponeurosis. It serves as an adductor, medial rotator, and extender of the arm.

djverab [1.8K]
The correct answer here is C. Water molecules are more free to move, so they will be able to engage in rapid and fluid contact with magma. This is in contrast to fixed continental rock, which may have quick initial heat transfer but which tapers off quickly because the rock is not flexible enough to send cooler rock towards the magma.

elena-s [515]
The answer to this question would be phantom pain

An amputated leg sometimes still giving a fell of leg or pain even though the leg wasn't there anymore. That happened because the nerve fiber that carries the stimulus from that area is still alive. Something might induce the remnant of the nerve to send a signal of pain but the brain interprets the location to be in the removed limb.
