Since we already know the base area, we simply have to multiply it by the height to get the volume of the box (how much packing material it can contain)

9/10 x 1/3

9 x 1 = 3
10 3 10 (I cancelled the 9 and 3 and made them 3 and 1 respectively)
The answer is 3/10 ft³

A research article described a random sample of 584 smokers who tried to quit smoking by using either a nicotine patch or e-ciga
vitfil [10]

Answer:

D. Chi-square test for two-way table

Step-by-step explanation:

To test if there is an association between the percentage of people that successfully stop smoking and the method they used to do so, a random sample of 584 smokers who tried to quit smoking and was orted by the method they used to help themselves to achieve their goal (nicotine-patch or e-cigarettes). After six months, the proportion of subjects that successfully stopped smoking.

In this case, the t-test is not applicable, this statistic is to test the population mean. The variable of the study is the proportion of people that successfully stopped smoking using either method.

To apply Chi-Square tests the condition to be met is that the variable is categorizable and since the data can be organized in a 2x2 table, all expected frequencies should be >5.

The objective of the Goodness-to-fit test is to test if a population follows a certain theoretical model.

In this example, the objective is to compare the proportion of people that successfully quit smoking and the proportion of people that failed by using either method.

The abdominopelvic region that is bordered by all four imaginary lines is the
Ainat [17]

Umbilical point.

An umbilic point, likewise called just an umbilic, is a point on a surface at which the arch is the same toward any path.

In the differential geometry of surfaces in three measurements, umbilics or umbilical focuses are focuses on a surface that are locally round. At such focuses the ordinary ebbs and flows every which way are equivalent, consequently, both primary ebbs and flows are equivalent, and each digression vector is a chief heading. The name "umbilic" originates from the Latin umbilicus - navel.

Umbilic focuses for the most part happen as confined focuses in the circular area of the surface; that is, the place the Gaussian ebb and flow is sure. For surfaces with family 0, e.g. an ellipsoid, there must be no less than four umbilics, an outcome of the Poincaré–Hopf hypothesis. An ellipsoid of unrest has just two umbilics.

1. In which quadrant does θ lie given that sinθ>0 and cosθ<0?
expeople1 [14]

Answer:

\theta is in quadrant II

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

\sin(\theta) > 0 and \cos(\theta) < 0

Required

Where is \theta

\sin(\theta) > 0 and \cos(\theta) < 0 imply that

\theta is in quadrant II

Because that is only quadrant where \sin(\theta) > 0 and \cos(\theta) < 0 exist.
