F(x)=-1/x
g(x)=√(3x-9)

Domain of (f/g)(x):  ??

1We find out the domain of f(x):
f(x) is a rational function, therefore can take real values if the denominator is not ("0"), therefore the domain of f, will be all values excpet "0"
Domain of  f: (-∞,0)U(0,+∞);

                                                          o
----------------------------------------------O-------------------------------------------
←-------- -∞                                                               +∞           ----------→

g(x) is a radical square root  function, therefore the radicand have to be greater than o equal to "0"
3x-9≥0
3x≥9
x≥3

                                                         3
.........................................................Ф--------------------------------
←--------- - ∞                                                        +∞ -----------→

(f/g)(x) = (-1/x) / (√(3x-9)) is a rational function with a square root in the denominator,also the square root don´t take the value of "0";
Therefore:
3x-9>0
3x>9
x>3

The domain of the function (f/g)(x) only can take the values found in all three domains at once.
                                                            3
............................................................0---------------------------------
←--------- -∞                                                          +∞-------------→

Answer: (3,+∞)

Degger [83]

Answer:

a.) The garden plants provide energy to all the other organisms. While not every organism consumes garden plants directly, every organism's food lineage can be traced to garden plants. For instance, while ground beetles do not directly consume garden plants, they do eat snails, and snails eat garden plants.

b.) The slug population might increase is the aphid population decreased because there would be less competition for food resources. Both populations consume garden plants, and there is only a finite number of garden plants. Therefore, there is a limit that each population can consume. If there were less aphids eating the garden plants, there would be more left for the slugs. Less starving slugs would lead to greater reproduction and thus a higher slug population.

Wood is mainly cellulose, a polymer produced by plants. One use of wood is as a fuel in campfires, fireplaces, and wood furnaces
Alja [10]

Answer:

C6 H10 O5+ 6O2-----> 6CO2+5H2O+heat

Explanation:

There are 6 carbon atoms in reactants to balance you put coefficient 6.

This makes the oxygen in CO2 12 so to balance put 6 in oxygen in reactants.

There are 10 hydrogen atoms in reactants to balance you put 5 in front of H2O in products.

If u recheck: 6 C atoms in reactants, 6 C atoms in products.

10 H atoms in reactants, 10 H atoms in products.

17 O atoms in reactants, 17 O atoms in products.

Where does energy travel to? *<br> 1 point<br> HOT to COLD<br> COLD to HOT
Slav-nsk [51]

Answer:

Hot to cold

Explanation:

Unless people interfere, thermal energy or heat naturally flows in on direction only: hot towards cold. Heat moves naturally by any of three means. The processes are known as conduction, convection, radiation. Sometimes more than one may occur at the same time.

A 37.2 g sample of copper at 99.8 °C is carefully placed into an insulated container containing 188 g of water at 18.5 °C. Calcu
klasskru [66]

Answer:

T₂ = 19.95°C

Explanation:

From the law of conservation of energy:

Heat\ Lost\ by\ Copper = Heat\ Gained\ by\ Water\\m_cC_c\Delta T_c = m_wC_w\Delta T_w

where,

mc = mass of copper = 37.2 g

Cc = specific heat of copper = 0.385 J/g.°C

mw = mass of water = 188 g

Cw = specific heat of water = 4.184 J/g.°C

ΔTc = Change in temperature of copper = 99.8°C - T₂

ΔTw = Change in temperature of water = T₂ - 18.5°C

T₂ = Final Temperature at Equilibrium = ?

Therefore,

(37.2\ g)(0.385\ J/g.^oC)(99.8\ ^oC-T_2)=(188\ g)(4.184\ J/g.^oC)(T_2-18.5\ ^oC)\\99.8\ ^oC-T_2 = \frac{(188\ g)(4.184\ J/g.^oC)}{(37.2\ g)(0.385\ J/g.^oC)}(T_2-18.5\ ^oC)\\\\99.8\ ^oC-T_2 = (54.92) (T_2-18.5\ ^oC)\\54.92T_2+T_2 = 99.8\ ^oC + 1016.02\ ^oC\\\\T_2 = \frac{1115.82\ ^oC}{55.92}

<u>T₂ = 19.95°C</u>
