Complete the table.<br> f(y) = 4y2 - 4v<br> f(v<br> -4<br> -3<br> -2<br> -1
Nastasia [14]

Answer:

f(y) = 4y2 - 4v

f(y) = 4y² - 4(-4) = 4y² + 16

f(y) = 4y² - 4(-3) = 4y² + 12

f(y) = 4y² - 4(-2) =4y² + 8

f(y) = 4y² - 4(-1) = 4y² + 4

What is the solution to the equation 1/3 (9x-6)2x=3
jarptica [38.1K]
\frac{1}{3} (9x-6)2x=3 \\ \\ \frac{(9x-6) \times 2x}{3} = 3 \\ \\ \frac{3(3x - 2) \times 2x}{3} = 3 \\ \\ \frac{6x (3x-2)}{3} = 3 \\ \\ 2x(3x-2) = 3 \\ \\ 6x^2 - 4x = 3 \\ \\ 6x^2 - 4x - 3 = 0 \\ \\ x = \frac{4+2 \sqrt{22} }{12} , \frac{2- \sqrt{22} }{12} \\ \\ x = \frac{2+ \sqrt{22} }{6} , \frac{2- \sqrt{22} }{6}

The ratio of Isabella's money to Shane's money is 3:11. If Isabella has $33, how much money do Shane and Isabella have together?
Sergio039 [100]
The ratio of Isabella’s money to Shane’s money is 3:11

Isabella has $33.

We can make a proportion to solve for how much money Shane has.
A proportion is two ratios that are set equal to each other.

Let’s call Shane’s money ‘S’

We get this proportion:   3/11 = 33/x

If we cross multiply we get:
(33) * (11) = (3) * (x)

Simplifying it, we get:
363 = (3) * (x)

Divide both sides by 3, we get:
x = 121

However, the question asks how much money they have together.

Isabella + Shane = Total
33 + 121 = $154

<span>They have $154 together.</span>

In the diagram below, m = 96 and m = 114. What is the measure of<br> JPM?
horrorfan [7]
When there are two chords intersecting inside of a circle, there are four angles that are formed from this intersection. At the intersection, there are two sets of congruent vertical angles formed.

Angle Formed by Two Chords = 1/2(Sum of the Intercepted Arcs)

m<JPM = 1/2 (114 + 96)  = 1/2 (210) = 105

1.2 pounds of chicken per serving.

Step-by-step explanation:

4 and 4/5 of pounds of chicken for serving of 4.

We can also write this as 4.8 pounds of chicken.

To find how much pound of chicken will be needed for a single serving we have to divide 4.8 by 4.

\frac{4.8}{4}  = 1.2 \: pounds \: of \: chicken
