1\frac{3}{4} = \frac{7}{4} we change this because this is a improper

3 = \frac{3}{1} we change that because the number of 3 was by itself and it needed to become a fraction {if that makes sense}

Problem becomes → \frac{7}{4} ÷ \frac{3}{1}

We can change the symbol to a multplication symbol to solve the problem easier

\frac{7}{4} × \frac{1}{3}

Therefore your answer would have to be \frac{7}{12}

What is the volume of a rectangular prism with a length of 1. 4 meters, a width of 0. 5 meter, and a height of 1. 8 meters? 7. 5
mihalych1998 [28]

The volume of the rectangular prism will be  V=1.26m^{3}

<h3>What will be the volume of the rectangular prism ?</h3>

Given that

\rm Lenth \ of \ the \ rectangular \ prism =1.4\ m

\rm width\ of \ prism=0.5\ m

\rm Height \ of \ prism=1.8\ m

\rm Volume \ of \ the \ Rectangular \ Prism= L\times W\times H

V=1.4\times 0.5\times1.8=1.26 \ m^{3}

Thus the volume of the rectangular prism will be  V=1.26m^{3}

2. A set of data consists of the number of years that applicants for foreign service
Bad White [126]

Answer:

Kindly check explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the regression equation :

y = 31.6 + 10.9x

x = the number of years of study ;

y = the grade on the test.

The predicted is y which is also the same as the response variable, hence, the response variable is grade on the test

The predictor variable is x, which is the independent variable, which is the number of years of study.

From. The regression output given ;

The slope which is the Coefficient of the predictor variable is 10.9 which means that for every unit change in number of years of study, the grade on test increases by 10.9

The intercept which is the constant value, 31.6, means, the least a person can get in the get in grade is 31.6 (at x = 0)
