Answer:

5 V

Explanation:

The maximum voltage the voltmeter can read will be the voltage drop across the 20 Ω resistance and the voltage drop across the 4980 Ω resistance.

V' = Ir +IR.................... equation 1

Where V' = Maximum voltage the voltmeter can read, I = current, r = resistance of the galvanometer coil, R = The resistance connected in series to the galvanometer.

Given: I = 1 mA = 0.001 A, r = 20Ω, R = 4980Ω

Substitute into equation 1

V' = 20(0.001)+4980(0.001)

V' = 0.02+4.98

V' = 5 V

Answer:

Explanation:

E = IR + Ir

Where,

I = current

= 1 mA

= 0.001 A

R = 4980 Ω

Internal resistance, r = 20 Ω

Maximum voltage, E = 0.001 × 4980 + 0.001 × 20

= 4.98 + 0.02

= 5 V

If you dribble a basketball with a frequency of 1.77 Hz, how long does it take for you to complete 12 dribbles?
Licemer1 [7]

It takes 6.78 seconds to complete 12 dribbles.

Explanation:

Frequency of dribble = 1.77 Hz

That is

         Number of dribbles in 1 second = 1.77

         \texttt{Time taken for 1 dribble = }\frac{1}{1.77}=0.565s

Now we need to find how long does it take for you to complete 12 dribbles.

         Time taken for 12 dribbles = 12 x Time taken for 1 dribble

         Time taken for 12 dribbles = 12 x 0.565

         Time taken for 12 dribbles = 6.78 seconds

It takes 6.78 seconds to complete 12 dribbles.

Briefly explain how a resonance tube works
Lera25 [3.4K]

Answer:

As the tines of the tuning fork vibrate at their own natural frequency, they created sound waves that impinge upon the opening of the resonance tube. These impinging sound waves produced by the tuning fork force air inside of the resonance tube to vibrate at the same frequency.
