Answer:

(0.5,-4.5)

Step-by-step explanation:

The given rectangle has diagonals have the endpoints P(-3, -2) ,I(4, -7) and A(4, -2) ,D(-3, -7)

The diagonals of the rectangle bisect each other so we use the midpoint formula to find their point of intersection.

The midpoint formula is;

(\frac{x_1+x_2}{2},\frac{y_1+y_2}{2})

We use any pair of endpoints of the diagonals to find the point of intersection.

Using A(4, -2) ,D(-3, -7)

(\frac{4+-3}{2},\frac{-2+-7}{2})

(\frac{1}{2},\frac{-9}{2})

or

(0.5,-4.5)

Please solve this:
Kobotan [32]

Answer:

<u>y</u><u> </u><u>is</u><u> </u><u>5</u><u>.</u>

Step-by-step explanation:

{ \sf{{2}^{y - 3} \times {3}^{2y - 8 } = 36}} \\  \frac{ {2}^{y} }{ {2}^{3}}  \times  \frac{ {3}^{2y} }{ {3}^{8} }  = 36 \\  \\  {2}^{y} . {3}^{2y}  = 36 \times  {2}^{3}  \times  {3}^{8}

Introduce log base 10:

log_{10}( {2}^{y}  \times  {3}^{2y} )  =  log_{10}(36 \times  {2}^{3}  \times  {3}^{8} )  \\  log_{10}( {2}^{y} )  +  log_{10}( {3}^{2y} )  = 6.28 \\ y log_{10}(2)  + 2y log_{10}(3)  = 6.28 \\ 0.3y + 0.95y = 6.28 \\ 1.25y = 6.28 \\ y = 5

How do i simplify 96/180
joja [24]
You would find a number that goes into both 96 and 180 and once you find that number by guessing and checking it would be at its smallest form once you divide it

What is the value of 3 x squared minus 5 x y + 5 y squared for x = negative 6 and y = 2?
Klio2033 [76]

Answer:

A = 188

Step-by-step explanation:

+ replace x = -6 and y= 2 into 3 x squared minus 5 x y + 5 y squared = A

So A= 3x^2 - 5xy + 5y^2

A = 3 *(-6)^2 -5* (-6) *2 +5* 2^2

A = 3* 36 +60 + 5*4

A= 108 +60 +20

or A = 188

Have a good day
