3x^3 + 6x^2 + x +2

Let's divide the question into the left and right side:
The left side:
3x^3 + 6x^2
Take out the greatest common factor (3x^2)
3x^2(x+2)

Now the right side:
x+2
Take out greatest common factor (1)
1(x+2)

Notice how each side has a parenthesis of (x + 2); this is good. We combine the matching elements into one, and take the greatest common factors we pulled and make them into a group. As shown:

(3x^2 +1) is the two greatest common factors we pulled.

(x+2) is the common parenthesis.
Now combine them for your answer:

(3x^2+1)(x+2) is your factored answer.

I hope this Helps!

AnnyKZ [126]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

A is the only equation that does not account for the fact that Tu bought 2 tickets and 2 drinks.

The rest do: B subtracts the appropriate amounts twice, C multiplies the doubled expenses, and D does the same, just the amount paid is also separated.

A football stadium is capable of seating a maximum of m fans. For each game, the
klasskru [66]

Answer:

The revenue depends on the number of people n that purchases tickets, knowing that each ticket costs $30.00, the total revenue will be:

f(n) = $30.00*n

Now, we also know that the stadium is capable of seating a maximum of m fans, so the maximum possible value for n is m.

Now, for the function f(n), we have that:

The domain is the set of the possible values of n

The range is the set of the possible values of f(n).

We want to find the domain.

First, the minimum possible value of n is 0, the case where nobody purchases a ticket.

The maximum possible value of n is m, this is the case where the stadium is full.

Then the domain will be:

D= {n,m ∈ Z, 0 ≤ n ≤ m}

Where we imposed that n must be an integer number because n represents a whole quantity.
