Answer:

The temperature of the refrigerator should be monitored immediately and reduced to the lower temperature.

Further Explanation:

The food kept in a refrigerator should be taken care in several manner. The temperature of the fridge should be well regulated and taken care of in order to prevent the food spoilage.

The US Food and Drug Administration primarily recommends that the temperature of the refrigerator should be regulated at 40^{\circ} F in order to keep the food safe from any infection.

Since the food in the refrigerator is at a lower temperature i.e. 41^{\circ}F,and the temperature of the air in the refrigerator is 68^{\circ}F and it is rising, then air of the refrigerator should also be regulated and maintained at the lower temperature.

The air temperature inside the refrigerator should be reduced to 40^{\circ}F and it should be maintained at this temperature to save the food from spoilage.

The various measures that should be taken to save the food in the refrigerator are as follows:

  • The refrigerator should be keep well stocked up in order to maintain the temperature in the refrigerator.
  • The food in the refrigerator should be kept such that the food that has extreme chances of being spoiled should not be kept at the door of the refrigerator.
  • The air regulation in the refrigerator should be maintained proper through the vents and the vents for the air flow should not be chocked.
