Social influences would be influenced by mainly things like peer pressure, conformity and persuasion, just to name a few. Social influence isn't always something negative and it can be a positive thing, as well. Sometime peer pressure is GOOD with the right type of pressure, i.e. to get good grades because all the other kids in the class are doing well and you don't want to look dumb. Things like that can help drive us to succeed.
