Answer:

The receiver placed at the focus is 56.43 from the bottom of the dish

Explanation:

Let the receiver be R

The satellite dish is 56 and at the focus is 28

49 is the depht

We can get R using the Pitagoras Theorem

a² + b² = R²

28² + 49² = R²

Do calculations

784 + 2401= R²

3185 = R²

R= √3185

R= 56.4358

Two charged particles are a distance of 1.62 m from each other. One of the particles has a charge of 7.10 nc, and the other has
k0ka [10]

Answer:

A. F=107.6nN

B. Repulsive

Explanation:

According to coulombs law, the force between two charges is express as

F=(Kq1q2) /r^2

If the charges are of similar charge the force will be repulsive and if they are dislike charges, force will be attractive.

Note the constant K has a value 9*10^9

Hence for a charge q1=7.10nC=7.10*10^-9, q2=4.42*10^-9 and the distance r=1.62m

If we substitute values we have

F=[(9×10^9) ×(7.10×10^-9) ×(4.42×10^-9)] /(1.62^2)

F=(282.4×10^-9)/2.6244

F=107.6×10^-9N

F=107.6nN

B. Since the charges are both positive, the force is repulsive

The metric unit of force is the
grandymaker [24]

The unit of force is the 'Newton'.

1 newton is the force that accelerates 1 kilogram of mass
at the rate of 1 meter per second-squared.

                   1 N  =  1 kg-m/s²

-- A force of 1 pound is about  4.448 newtons.

-- A force of 1 newton is about  3.6 ounces.

A driver averaged 64 mph and took 3½ hours to travel from st. Louis to chicago. Based on this, what is the distance between st.
sammy [17]

Average speed of the driver is given as

v = 64 mph

if he moved for total time t = 3.5 hours

so the distance between the tow is given as

d = v* t

d = 64 * 3.5

d = 224 miles

so the distance between St. Louis and Chicago is 224 miles

The inductance of a closely packed coil of 560 turns is 8.9 mH. Calculate the magnetic flux through the coil when the current is
Y_Kistochka [10]

Answer:

0.11\times 10^{-6}weber

Explanation:

We have given number of turns N = 560

Inductance L = 8.9 mH

Current through the coil = 7 mA

Inductance of the coil is given as L=\frac{N\Phi }{I}

Where N  is number of turns I is current and \Phi is flux

So \Phi =\frac{LI}{N}=\frac{8.9\times 10^{-3}\times 7\times 10^{-3}}{560}=0.11\times 10^{-6}weber
