A truck with a heavy load has a total mass of 7100 kg. It is climbing a 15∘ incline at a steady 15 m/s when, unfortunately, the

poorly secured load falls off! Immediately after losing the load, the truck begins to accelerate at 1.5 m/s2. Part A What was the mass of the load? Ignore rolling friction.

Answer:

The load has a mass of 2636.8 kg

Explanation:

Step 1 : Data given

Mass of the truck = 7100 kg

Angle = 15°

velocity = 15m/s

Acceleration = 1.5 m/s²

Mass of truck = m1 kg

Mass of load = m2 kg

Thrust from engine = T

Step 2:

⇒ Before the load falls off, thrust (T) balances the component of total weight downhill:

T = (m1+m2)*g*sinθ

⇒ After the load falls off, thrust (T) remains the same but downhill component of weight becomes m1*gsinθ .

Resultant force on truck is F = T – m1*gsinθ

F causes the acceleration of the truck: F= m*a

This gives the equation:

T – m1*gsinθ = m1*a

T = m1(a + gsinθ)

Combining both equations gives:

(m1+m2)*g*sinθ = m1*(a + gsinθ)

m1*g*sinθ + m2*g*sinθ =m1*a + m1*g*sinθ

m2*g*sinθ = m1*a

Since m1+m2 = 7100kg, m1= 7100 – m2. This we can plug into the previous equation:

m2*g*sinθ = (7100 – m2)*a

m2*g*sinθ = 7100a – m2a

m2*gsinθ + m2*a = 7100a

m2* (gsinθ + a) = 7100a

m2 = 7100a/(gsinθ  + a)

m2 = (7100 * 1.5) / (9.8sin(15°) + 1.5)

m2 = 2636.8 kg

The load has a mass of 2636.8 kg

What the unit for electric current
Step2247 [10]
The unit of electric current is the Ampere.

1 Ampere of current means that if you set up your chair and
stare at the electrons flowing past one point in the circuit, you'll
see 1 coulomb of charge passing that point every second.

How will you recognize 1 coulomb of charge ?
Well, every electron carries the same amount of charge, and
we know how much that is. (Read about the Millikan oil-drop
experiment in 1909.) So we know how many electrons it takes
to carry 1 coulomb of charge past the point you're watching.

All you have to do is count the electrons as they zip past.
Every time you count 6,241,509,343,000,000,000 electrons,
you can tick off 1 coulomb of total charge that they're carrying.
If you reach that count every second, you know the current
passing that point is 1 Ampere.

Which is an inertial reference frame (or at least a very good approximation of one)? Which is an inertial reference frame (or at
ioda

Answer:

A jet plane flying straight and at level at constant speed

Explanation:

     The inertial frame of reference is a frame of reference in which all Newton law is valid ie Newton second law of motion and therefore newton first law of motion holds good. The frame of reference does not accelerate.

All the object that is in the frame of reference are at rest or moving with constant rectilinear motion with constant velocity unless acted upon by any force.

What are the most basic building blocks of all organisms?
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Answer:

Cells

Explanation:

Non-living, it's atoms, but the smallest unit component that all living beings must have is the cell. In fact some living things can be just one cell. Every living being comes from cells, is made up of one or more cells, and cannot be considered a living organism without at least one.
