Without caring the cost of battery then battery C last the longest for average of 24 hrs. but if we include the cost, then we should calculate the cost per hour.

<span>A.    </span>$ 0.5 / 12 hrs = $ 0.042 per hr

<span>B.    </span>$ 2 / 18 hrs = $ 0.11 per hr

<span>C.    </span>$3.50 / 24 hrs = $ 0.15 per hrs

<span>So the cheapest is battery A</span>

Why polarized sunglasses particularly effective in reducing glare?
kipiarov [429]

Answer:

Polarized glasses contains a special filter that block dangerous intensity of lights which are reflected by flat surfaces and they help in reducing glare and discomfort

Explanation:

Sunlight scatters in all the direction. But when this light strikes with the flat surfaces, then the light which is reflected by the flat surface tend to become polarized, means the reflected light will travel in all directions. This reflecting light creates a dangerous intense light that causes glare and reduces visibility.

Polarized glasses contains a special filter that block this type of dangerous intensity lights, help in reducing glare and discomfort.

Therefore, by the above discussion it can be say that the polarized sunglasses particularly effective in reducing glares.

A squirrel on a limb near the top of a tree loses its grip on a nut, so that the nut slips away horizontally at a speed of 1.5m/
tatiyna

Answer:

The height of the squirrel  h =113 \  m

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

    The horizontally speed is v  = 1.5 m/s

    The horizontal  distance d =  7.2 \ m

Generally the the time taken is mathematically represented

      t = \frac{d}{v}

=>   t = \frac{7.2}{1.5}

=>   t = 4.8 \  s

Generally from kinematic equation we have that

     h =  ut + \frac{1}{2} gt^2

Here u  is the initial velocity of nut in the vertical and the value is 0 m/s

     h =  0 * 4.8  + \frac{1}{2} * 9.8 * (4.8)^2

=>  h =113 \  m
