The purpose of the Lewis and Clark expedition had the same purpose like many other expeditions: To explore unknown territories, establish trade with natives, show ownership

*In 1803 when the U.S purchased Louisiana from France, president Jefferson wanted to examine the land before settling there so he sent Lewis to be in charge of the expedition, and he invited Clark to come along

They also wanted to find a water way from the U.S to  the Pacific

Sergio039 [100]

Answer: The geography of India greatly influenced the location of early settlements on the subcontinent. Both the Indus and the Ganges rivers carried rich silt from the mountains to the plains. Harman [31]

They should not complain about bad treatment because the South is still recovering from the war.

During the war, blacks fought for both the sides which so ever can help them in gaining freedom in when a new country is created. Black history and the south suffered a lot from racial discrimination.

Blacks have even tried to find a place in private or a working sector. their struggle is very long and hard. They have always fought for their survival. If America was able to get free from Britain than southern black has been so important in doing it.
