Individuals who are both born and raised in high altitudes will have their bodies re-establish equilibrium shift by producing more hemoglobin, which allows for more oxygen to be bound to the heme protein and thus cause an equilibrium shift to the right.

A chemist reacts H2 with excess N2. The reaction yields 60 grams of NH3. however, you calculaye you should have recovered 80 gra
Finger [1]

Answer:

Percent yield = 75%

Explanation:

Given data:

Actual yield of ammonia = 60 g

Theoretical yield of ammonia = 80 g

Percent yield = ?

Solution:

Percent yield is calculated dividing the actual yield by theoretical yield and multiply by 100.

Formula:

Percent yield = Actual yield / Theoretical yield × 100

Now we will put the values in formula.

Percent yield = 60 g/ 80 g × 100

Percent yield = 0.75 × 100

Percent yield = 75%

So if the reaction yield is 60 g and calculated yield ( theoretical yield) is 80 g then the percent yield would be 75%.

Determine the number of protons, electrons, and neutrons present in an atom of patassium. Explain how you determined your answer
Lady bird [3.3K]
Protons-19 because protons are equal to the atomic number which is 19 , electrons-19 electrons are equal to number of protons, neutrons-20 because the mass number of potassium is 39 so subtract 39 from 19 (atomic number) which gives us 20

Gastric acid pH can range from 1 to 4, and most of the acid is HCl.
erma4kov [3.2K]

Given the molarity of the solution is3.03*10^{-2}.

The volume of the solution is 10.9/1000 L

Number of moles of HCl = Molarity * volume of the solution in L

Number of moles of HCl =3.03*10^{-2}*\frac{1000}{10.9}

Number of moles of HCl = 2.7 moles.

Therefore number of moles of HCl in 10.9 ml of the stomach acid is 2.7 moles
