What are some transcultural communication technique?
Romashka [77]

Hm..I recall it being something about how you approach and speak to your patients:

>> Listen to what your patients have to say about their symptoms/problems. You need to be open to communication, understanding and obviously have patience.

>> and when you first meet a new patient, approach them slowly and wait for them to acknowledge you or your presence. You don't want to rush in as it doesn't look professional and some may take it a little personal (depending on their cultures/backgrounds).

Think about your family, self-perception, community, and heredity. Describe how these aspects of your life will affect your resp
Anna [14]

Answer:

Personally my family is very religious. This would cause me to think twice when offered a drug or alcohol. I would think about how disappointed they would be. I also live in a tight knit community. If it got around that I had used drugs or consumed alcohol it would damage my reputation and might make people in my community more hesitant to associate with me or invite me to family events. In conclusion, my family and wonderful community would help me ignore the peer pressure and make better decisions for my self and those around me.
