To find how many moles of the gas you can use ideal gas formula. Remember to change the temperature unit to Kelvin. Since the pressure using kpa, the constant used would be 8.314 kpa*L  / mol*K
PV=nRT
n= PV/RT
n= 17,250 kpa * 20  /   8.314 * (24+273.15)K
n=139.64moles

A beaker containing 6.32 moles of PBr3, contains___
NISA [10]

Answer:

3.8 x 10²⁴molecules

Explanation:

Given parameters:

Number of moles  = 6.32moles

Unknown:

Number of molecules  = ?

Solution:

The number of moles can be used to derive the number of molecules found within a substance.

Now,

       1 mole of substance contains 6.02 x 10²³ molecules

     6.32 mole of PBr₃ will contain 6.32 x 6.02 x 10²³ = 3.8 x 10²⁴molecules

Can someone help me with number 1 and 2 plz!
GalinKa [24]

Answer:

1) 0 N

2) 8 N

Explanation:

The net force is the sum of all of the forces acting on the object.

For question 1, we can see that there is a force of 5 N acting to the right and 5 N acting to the left.  If we define the right to be positive and the left to be negative, then the net force equals:

Fnet = 5N - 5N = 0 N

Therefore, the net force in question 1 is 0 N.

For question 2, the process is very similar.  We want to find the sum of the forces acting on the object.  In this case, there are forces of 3 N and 5 N acting to the right.

Fnet = 3 N + 5 N = 8 N

Therefore, the net force in question 2 is 8 N.

Hope this helps!

A disk of radius 2.0 cm has a surface charge density of 6.3 μC/m2 on its upper face. What is the magnitude of the electric field
maksim [4K]

Answer:

the electric field at Z = 12 cm is E =   9.68 × 10³ N/C = 9.68 kN/C

Explanation:

Given: radius of disk, R = 2.0 cm = 2 × 10⁻² cm, surface charge density,σ = 6.3 μC/m² = 6.3 × 10⁻⁶ C/m², distance on central axis, z = 12 cm = 12 × 10⁻² cm.

The electric field, E at a point on the central axis of a charged disk is given by E = σ/ε₀(1 - \frac{z}{\sqrt{z^{2} + R^{2} }  })

Substituting the values into the equation, it becomes

E = σ/ε₀(1 - \frac{z}{\sqrt{z^{2} + R^{2} }  }) = 6.3 × 10⁻⁶/8.854 × 10⁻¹²(1 - \frac{0.12}{\sqrt{0.12^{2} + 0.02^{2} } }) = 7.12 × 10⁵(1 - \frac{0.12}{0.1216}) = 7.12 × 10⁵(1 - 0.9864) = 7.12 × 10⁵ × 0.0136 = 0.0968 × 10⁵ = 9.68 × 10³ N/C = 9.68 kN/C

Therefore, the electric field at Z = 12 cm is E =   9.68 × 10³ N/C = 9.68 kN/C
