People in the US are resistant to change because they believe their way of life does not need change.

Explanation:

As given, In cultures in which people believe that they can dominate their environment, individuals will tend to take a passive approach toward change. US is one of the cultures that takes pride in its past achievement and does not want to change that way of life that had led them there.

Ironically, the time of the progress in US was marked by such innovations that have defined the nations like China in the modern world now.

This is something that is hard to realize on a cultural term.

Is extravagance a social problem
serg [7]

Answer:

This is a bit of a complex question for a simple yes or no. Ultimately, extravagance can become a social problem related to the wealth gap, specifically if the extravagance comes from political leaders. For example, King Louis XVI lived in great extravagance. (During his reign, he built the Versailles palace.) The poor of France absolutely saw this extravagance as a social problem, and, well, Louis and his wife's heads ended up in a basket. Hope this helps.

In three to five sentences, describe the role of women in movements to improve social and economic conditions, and explain the s
-Dominant- [34]

Solution Here

The feminist movement has effected change in Western society, including women's suffrage; greater access to education; more equitable pay with men; the right to initiate divorce proceedings; the right of women to make individual decisions regarding pregnancy (including access to contraceptives and abortion); and the right to own property. Harvard Psychology Professor Steven Pinker argues that feminism has reduced domestic violence against men as their likelihood of being killed by a female intimate partner has decreased six-fold. However, fourth-wave feminism has coincided with significant increases in male violence and femicides against women, a lot of it regarded as a backlash.
