Answer:

Transport as well as storing of microbes

Explanation:

An agar slant is usually defined as a closed culture tube that is partially filled up with agar mix like nutrient agar. These slants are build-up by allowing agar to reach its boiling point and eventually putting it inside a test tube.

Agar slants are mostly used in order to customize the bacterial cells for their identification. When the bacterial cells are placed over a nutrient agar slant, then it splits rapidly and there produces numerous cells within a couple of hours that are helpful in studying by the use of a microscope. It facilitates the transport and storing of microbes.

Describe the function and main structures of the nervous system. Describe the state of a resting neuron, including the charges i
Ulleksa [173]

Answer:

The function of the central nervous system is to control all function of the body and mind and to integrate all sensory information received and and respond accordingly.

The central nervous system is made up of the brain and the spinal cord and its neurons.

The resting state of a neuron is  -70 mV (mV=millivolt) - which means that the inside of the neuron is 70 mV less than the outside of the neuron, therefore, at rest, there are relatively more sodium ions outside the neuron (which are negatively charged) and more potassium ions inside that neuron (Positive charge)
