No. For one thing, when it comes, it flows too fast to catch it and store it. And second, you never know WHERE to set up your equipment.

No, electricity has so much energy, it is too much to even try to contain.

The skeletal system provides structural support for the entire body. What is the skeletal system?
Mama L [17]
The skeletal system is a body system comprised of bone structures and tissues that help hold the body up. It also gives the body its shape - as if it was the framework. On top of that, it protects internal organs within the body.

Therefore, the skeletal system is a body system comprised of bone structures and tissues that give the body its shape and protects internal organs.

Hope this helps!

A budding magician holds a 2.24-mW laser pointer, wondering whether he could use it to keep an object floating in the air with t
Sonbull [250]

Answer:

 W = 1.49 10⁻¹¹ kg

Explanation:

For this problem, let's use Newton's equation of equilibrium

           F - W = 0

            F = W              (1)

Strength can be found from the definition of pressure

        P = F / A

        F = P A

The radiation pressure for a reflective surface is

            P = 2 I / c)

We substitute in equation 1

         2 I / c  A = W

The intensity is defined by the ratio of the power between the area

          I = P / A

          P = I A

We substitute

          2 P / c = W

           W = 2  2.24 10-3 / 3 108

           W = 1.49 10⁻¹¹ kg

Water enters an ice machine at 55F and leaves as ice at 25F. If the COP of the ice machine is 3.7 during this operation, determi
boyakko [2]

Answer:

The required power is P_i = 0.2692 \ hp

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

   The temperature of the water entering ice machine is T_1 = 55 ^o F

    The temperature of the water leaving is T_2 = 25 ^oF

    The COP of the ice machine is COP= 3.7

    The production rate of an ice  \r m = 15.0 \ lbm /hr

    The energy that needs to removed from each lbm of water at 55 F is E = 169 Btu

Generally the cooling load of the ice machine is mathematically represented as

       \r Q_L =  \r m * E

      \r Q_L =15 * 169

=>  \r Q_L = 2535 \ Btu/h

Generally the COP of the ice machine is mathematically represented as

       COP =  \frac{\r Q_L}{P_i}

Here P_i is the net power  input needed to successfully run the ice machine

So

     3.7 =  \frac{2535}{P_i}

=>   P_i = 685 \  Btu/h

Converting to horsepower

      P_i = \frac{685}{2545}

=>   P_i = 0.2692 \ hp
