Answer : The unknown volume will be, 348.6 mL

Explanation :

Charles' Law : It states that volume of the gas is directly proportional to the temperature of the gas at constant pressure and number of moles of gas.

Mathematically,

\frac{V_1}{T_1}=\frac{V_2}{T_2}

where,

V_1\text{ and }T_1 are the initial volume and temperature of the gas.

V_2\text{ and }T_2 are the final volume and temperature of the gas.

We are given:

V_1=?\\T_1=18^oC=(18+273)K=291K\\V_2=436mL\\T_2=91^oC=(91+273)K=364K

Now put all the given values in above equation, we get:

\frac{V_1}{291K}=\frac{436mL}{364K}\\\\V_1=348.6mL

Therefore, the unknown volume will be, 348.6 mL

How do chemical reactions differ from physical reactions?
EleoNora [17]
There are several differences between a physical and chemical change in matter or substances. A physical change is a substance that doesn't change what the substance is, a chemical change on the other hand is when there is a chemical reaction, a new stubstabce is formed and energy is either given off or absorbed.

Hope this helps. :)

Enzyme A and Enzyme B both catalyze the same reaction. If Enzyme A has a larger turnover number than Enzyme B, then which enzyme
lina2011 [118]

Answer:

Enzyme A, if we assume the concentration of the enzymes (A and B) are the same

Explanation:

As Enzyme turnover number is defined as the number of chemical conversions of substrate per second that a single enzyme can perform in its catalytic site, for a given enzyme concentration, we can say that the Enzyme A has a higher catalytic efficiency. This is true only if [Enzyme A] = [Enzyme B]
