The imaging technique that uses X-rays to make cross-sectional images of the body is CT scan. It uses a combination of X-rays from different angles, as well as computer processing so as to create cross-sectional images of the body. This type of scan is far more detailed and thorough than a regular X-rays scan, because it show more information.
