Answer:

58 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

(x+45)+(x+66)=95

2x+45+66=95

2x+111=95

2x=95-111

2x=-16

x=-16/2

x=-8

x+66=-8+66=58

<h3>Answer: angle JML is 58 degrees (choice C)</h3>

=======================================

Explanation:

Check out the attached image below. I have marked the angles with A, B, and C such that

A = angle NMJ = x+45 (in red)

B = angle JML = x+66 (in blue)

C = angle NML = 95 (in green)

The two angles A and B combine to form angle C. Angles A and B are adjacent angles.

So,

A+B = C

(x+45) + (x+66) = 95

2x+111 = 95

2x+111-111 = 95-111  .... subtract 111 from both sides

2x = -16

2x/2 = -16/2 .... divide both sides by 2

x = -8

From here we can find the angle measures

A = angle NMJ = x+45 = -8+45 = 37 degrees

B = angle JML = x+66 = -8+66 = 58 degrees

As a check,

A+B = 37+58 = 95 = C

so the answer is confirmed.

What is the solution of -(x + 1) - 5 &gt; 10
Pie
<span> -(x + 1) - 5 > 10
 -x - 1 - 5 > 10
 - x - 6 > 10
Add 6 to the both sides,
-x - 6 + 6 > 10 + 6
-x > 16
x < -16  [ changed sign 'cause changed -sign ]

In short, Your Answer would be x < -16

Find the 31st term of the following sequence.. . 9, 15, 21, .... . . 186. 189. 195. . . is there an easy way to do this.
Alja [10]
This problem is an example of an arithmetic series.

The common difference of the second term (15) with the first term (9) and the third term (21) with the second term (15) [15-9=6; 21-15=6] is 6.

The formula for solving this is:
An= A1 +(n-1)*d where An is the nth term, A1 is the first term, n is the number of terms and d is the common difference.

An=9+ (31-1)*6 = 189

The answer is 189.
