Una determinada cantidad de neón ocupa 0,5 litros (L) a 200ºC. Calcular el volumen que ocuparía a 0ºC si la presión se mantiene
Basile [38]

Answer:

V_2=0.87L

Explanation:

¡Hola!

En este caso, al considerar la información dada, inferimos que este problem se resuelve aplicando la ley de Charles, dado que tenemos una relación entre el volume y la temperatura:

\frac{V_2}{T_2}=\frac{V_1}{T_1}

Así, despejamos V2 (volumen final) y obtenemos:

V_2=\frac{V_1T_2}{T_1}\\\\V_2=\frac{0.5L*473.15K}{273.15K}\\\\V_2=0.87L

Saludos!

Draw a Lewis structure for thiocyanic acid, HSCN, adding charges and lone electron pairs to the appropriate atoms.
disa [49]

Answer:

See explanation and image attached

Explanation:

Thiocyanic acid is made made up of hydrogen, sulphur, carbon and nitrogen atoms. Carbon is the central atom in the molecule.

The molecule has a total of sixteen valence electrons as shown in the image attached. There are no formal charges in the structure of the molecule as shown.

The molecule is linear in shape.

Determine el número de moles presentes en una esfera de titaniode 0.5 cm de radio, sabiendo que la densidad del titanio es de 45
ludmilkaskok [199]

Answer:

0.0493 moles de Titanio

Explanation:

Volumen = 0.5236cm³

En m³ (1m³ = 1x10⁶cm³):

0.5236cm³ * (1m³ / 1x10⁶cm³) = 5.36x10⁻⁷m³

<em>Masa en gramos:</em>

5.36x10⁻⁷m³ * (4507kg / m³) = 2.36x10⁻³kg * (1000g / 1kg) = 2.36g de Titanio

<em>Moles -Masa molar Ti: 47.867g/mol-:</em>

2.36g de Titanio * (1mol / 47.867g) =

An object with mass m is attached to the end of a string and is raised vertically at a constant acceleration of g 6. If it has b
sattari [20]

11/10 MgL work has been done by the tension in the string.  If the object has been raised a distance l from rest.

<h3>Define work done?</h3>

The definition of work is expanded so that it encompasses both the forces applied to the body and the overall displacement of the body. A constant force F is present before this block. The objective of this force is to move the body d meters in a straight line in the force's direction.

Given,

Mass of object, M

Acceleration of object, a = g/10

Distance covered vertically, L

Tension of string, T

Work done by tension in string, W

W = T × L

By applying equilibrium force on string,

T - Mg = Ma

g = gravitational acceleration

T - Mg = M (g/10)

T = M(g/10) + Mg

T = 11/10 Mg

By substituting the value in, W = T × L

W = 11/10 Mg × L

W = 11/10 MgL

∴ Work done by tension is 11/10 MgL.

8. Describe an lonic Bond. (What types of atoms come together to form an ionic bond? What happens to the electrons in an ionic b
Shtirlitz [24]

Answer:

An ionic bond is that in which an electron is trasferred to another atom. Atoms  that are considered metals have a low electronegativity meaning they are less likely to gain any electrons. Atoms that are non-metals have a higher electronegativity and are more likey to gain electrons than lose electrons. When an electron is either lost or gained by another electron the atome becomes more stable. Atoms with a complete and balanced valence shell stay close together because of the Nucleus with its strong electromagnetic pull. The stronger the pull the more likely the atom will gain an electron. The weaker the pull the more likely it will lose an electron.
