Answer:

16th Group.

Explanation:

If there are six valence electrons available for bonding it means there must be two electrons in s sub shell and four in p subshell. Thus the element cannot be s block element and it cannot be d or f block element as well. The element must belong to p block.

The first group of p block contains one electron in outermost p subshell.

The first group is 13th group of periodic table.

so in this way the element with four electrons in valence p block will belong to 16th group.

Answer:

The answer is C. The partial pressure of hydrogen will be unchanged.

Explanation:

CO_{(g)} + 2H_{2(g)}  ⇒  CH_{3}OH

Argon with electronic configuration 1s^{2}  2s^{2}  2p^{6}  3s^{2}  3p^{6} (that is atomic number 18) is an inert gas making it unreactive and it's addition to the reaction has no effect on the partial pressure of either the reactant or production or the state of the system.

The partial pressure of hydrogen will remain unchanged on the addition of Argon.

Which of these terms might be a chemical compound? iron floride helium neon?
liubo4ka [24]
Iron Fluoride

A chemical compound is a substance composed of atoms from two or more (different) elements. These compounds are formed by the creation of chemical bonds between the atoms of the different elements.

Helium and Neon are both elements, and in particular, they belong to a group of chemical elements called noble gases. Being noble gases, they are very stable and do not react easily.

Iron fluoride is a chemical compound consisting of the metal, iron, and the nonmetal, fluorine. When a metal and a nonmetal react to form a compound, they form ionic bonds to hold together the atoms of the different elements comprising the compound.
