Broca's area is located in the frontal region of brain especially located on the left. The broca's area is the main part triangular part of inferior frontal gyrus and the homologue of broca's area is present on the right hemisphere.
The main function of the broca's area is the production of speech in the humans. The gestures that are associated with speech are controlled by the broca's area. Semantic and phonological tasks are also controlled by the broca's area.
This is a region in the frontal lobe of the dominant hemisphere, usually the left side of the brain linked to speech production. Language processing has been linked to Broca's area since Paul Broca reported impairments in two patients.
