I believe it's C) 60 because ideally it would be 3 for every 25, 20 x 25 = 200, so then you would do 3 x 20 = 60

Answer:

Number of cartons out of 25 which contains cracked eggs = 3 cartons

If number of cartons is 1 , then number of cartons containing cracked eggs  is

=\frac{3}{25}

               -------------------------------------(1)

So, if number of cartons is 500, then number of cartons containing cracked eggs be x.

So, If number of cartons is 1 , then number of cracked cartons is

=\frac{x}{500}

                           -----------------------------------(2)

Equating (1) and (2)

\frac{x}{500}=\frac{3}{25}\\\\25 x=500 \times 3\\\\ x=\frac{1500}{25}\\\\x=60

Option C: 60 , is number of cracked cartons, if number of  cartons with cracked eggs in a delivery of 500 cartons.

PARALLEL PERPENDICULAR OR NEITHER
Oksanka [162]

Answer:

Parallel

Step-by-step explanation:

Using these points, we can determine that the equation is as follows:

Line B: y = -2/3x + 7/3

And since Line A has the same slope, it would make Line A's equations like this:

Line A: y = -2/3x - 11/3

This makes these equations Parallel to each other because they have the same slope with different y-intercepts.
