First take note that Alex bought 1029 stickers and Doris has 234 MORE than alex, but Doris has 193 LESS than Mamie.

Dorie equation is

1029+234=1263

So Dorie has 1263 stickers!

Now for Mamie who has 193 more than Doris So the equation for Doris is

1263+19=1282

So Mamie bought 1282 stickers
