Answer:

New computer will take 33.28 hours to complete the calculation by itself.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the time taken by the new computer to complete the calculation = x hours

Per hours work done by the new computer = \frac{1}{x}

Time taken by the older computer to complete the calculation = (x + 11) hour

Per hour work done by old computer = \frac{1}{(x+11)}

When both the computers work together they complete the work in 19 hours.

Therefore, per hour work done by both together = \frac{1}{19}

We per hour work done by both individually = per hour work done by both together

\frac{1}{x}+\frac{1}{x+11}=\frac{1}{19}

\frac{x+x+11}{x(x+11)}=\frac{1}{19}

\frac{2x+11}{x(x+11)}=\frac{1}{19}

38x + 209 = x² + 11x

x² - 27x - 209 = 0

By quadratic formula,

x = \frac{27\pm \sqrt{(-27)^{2}-4\times 1\times (-209)}}{2}

x = \frac{27\pm \sqrt{729+836}}{2}

x = \frac{27\pm \sqrt{1565}}{2}

x = \frac{27\pm 39.56}{2}

x = 33.28 hours

Therefore, new computer will take 33.28 hours to complete the calculation by itself.

I WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST!!!! Calculate cos M if a= 4, b= 12.5, c= 13.1244 **Round your answer up to four decimal places.
kompoz [17]

Answer:

cosM ≈ 0.3048

Step-by-step explanation:

remember SOH CAH TOA = sine: opposite/hypotenuse; cosine: adjacent/hypotenuse; tangent: opposite/adjacent

cos = CAH

cosM= a / c

cosM = 4.0 / 13.1244

cosM = 0.30477

cosM ≈ 0.3048

Show your work please.
Kruka [31]

Answer:

Tauren has 78 keychains

James has 34 keychains

Marcus has 68 keychains

Yahya has 74 keychains

Step-by-step explanation:

I got this answer by doing this:

If Tauren has 78 keychains then its gonna be left like that.

If everybody else has an average of 68 keychains then divide 68 by 2 to get half of what marcus has which equals 34.

Then add the amount of James and marcus keychains which is 68 plus 34 which equals 102, the subtract the 28 because it says Yayha has 28 fewer keychains and that equals 74.

If the base of a parallelogram is 35m and the area is 425m2,what is the hight of the parallelogram
Zarrin [17]

let, the height be h

area of the parallelogram= base x height

425 = 35 x h

425/35 = h

The endpoints of GH are G(3,3) and H(-7,7).<br> Find the coordinates of the midpoint M.
sesenic [268]

Step-by-step explanation:

Hey there!!

You can simply use midpoint formulae to find midpoint of the coordinates.

Here, Given that;

G(3,3) and H(-7,7).

Using midpoint formulae,

midpoint \: of \: gh =  (\frac{x1 + x2}{2}  ,\frac{y1 + y2}{2})

midpoint \: of \: gh =  (\frac{3 - 7}{2}  ,\frac{3 + 7}{2})

After simplifying it we get,

= (-2,5).

Therefore, midpoint of GH is M(-2,5).
