To know what kind of triangle is it. use the pythagorean theorem:
A^2 + B^2 = C^2,
where C is the longest side of the triangle
if it satisfies the equation then it is a right triangle
if it does not then A^2 + B^2 > C^2 so it is acute triangle
if A^2 + B^2 < C^2 it is obtuse triangle

18^2 + 13^2 ? 27^2
324 + 169 ? 729
493 < 729 so it is obtuse triangle

Answer:

the answer for this problem is x^2+2x-15

Step-by-step explanation:

(x+5)(x-3)

x(x-3)+5(x-3)

On a coordinate grid, both point (1, 2) and point (−3, −3) are reflected across the y-axis. What are the coordinates of the refl
True [87]
I believe the answer would be (-1, 2) and (3,-3). Since the coordinates are reflected over the y axis, y is going to remain the same.

A population of cats has a population mean of μ = 12μ=12pounds and a population standard deviation of σ = 2.0σ=2.0pounds. The di
valkas [14]

Answer:

Normal (12, 0.20)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that a population of cats has a population mean of

\mu = 12pounds\\\sigma = 2 pounds

Also given that the distribution of weights of these cats is fairly symmetrical.

Since sample size is large and a random sample of 100 cats are drawn from this population, we find that

the mean of the sample would follow a normal distribution with mean =population mean and std deviation = population std dev/sqrt n

i.e. Sampling distribution of X would be normal with

mean = 12 pounds

and std deviation = \frac{2}{\sqrt{100} } \\=0.20
