Answer:

13,88,22

On the first evening Jamie received 13 calls.

Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of phone calls received by Jamie over three evenings = 123

Let the number of phone calls received on the third evening = x.

The number of phone calls received on the second evening = 4*x.

The number of phone calls received on the first evening = x-9

Expressing in equation form:

\[x+4x+x-9=123\]

\[=>6x-9=123\]

\[=>6x=132\]

\[=>x=\frac{132}{6}\]

\[=>x=22\]

So Jamie received 22 calls on the third evening, 88 calls on the second evening and 13 calls on the third evening.

use natural logarithms to solve the equation. round to the nearest thousandth. show work!! 5e^(2x+11) =30
rosijanka [135]

Answer:

x = -4.604

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, we want to get the value of x

We start by dividing through by 5

e^(2x + 11) = 30/5

e^(2x + 11) = 6

Writing this in natural logarithm form, we have;

ln 6 = 2x + 11

2x + 11 = 1.792

2x = 1.792-11

2x = -9.208

x = -9.208/2

x = -4.604

Answer:

60 servings

Step-by-step explanation:

Method 1: 2.5/10 (fraction) = 15/x (fraction)

Draw an arrow from 2.5 to 15 and write x6 (times 6)

Do the same from 10 to x

Then do 10*6 = 60

I don't know another method but hope this helps!

andrew11 [14]

Answer:

89.125%

Step-by-step explanation:

The weighted mean is simply the multiplication of the number of student in each period times the respective average of said period, divided by the total number of students:

Average = \frac{15* 86 + 21*88 + 12*95}{15 + 21 + 12} = 89.125%

Hello,

Let's assume v=the normal bicycling speed with no wind
and t the same amount of time...

60=(v+2)*t (1)
48=(v-2)*t (2)

(1)/(2)==>60/48=(v+2)/(v-2)

==>5(v-2)=4(v+2)
==>5v-4v=8+10
==>v=18 (mi/h)
