Answer:

13,88,22

On the first evening Jamie received 13 calls.

Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of phone calls received by Jamie over three evenings = 123

Let the number of phone calls received on the third evening = x.

The number of phone calls received on the second evening = 4*x.

The number of phone calls received on the first evening = x-9

Expressing in equation form:

\[x+4x+x-9=123\]

\[=>6x-9=123\]

\[=>6x=132\]

\[=>x=\frac{132}{6}\]

\[=>x=22\]

So Jamie received 22 calls on the third evening, 88 calls on the second evening and 13 calls on the third evening.

Use a benchmark fraction to compare 7 10 ths and 5 12 ths. Explain how you found the answer
elixir [45]
<span>Benchmark fractions are created when we make two different fractions have the same numerator or denominator. In thisi case, we will produce the same denominator. The LCM of 10 and 12 is 60. So the fractions become 42/60 and 25/60. Since the fraction with the larger numerator has a larger value when the denominators are the same, 7/10 is larger than 5/12.</span>

jek_recluse [69]

Answer: so i think for part a , the first term is a subscrpit 0 which is 10. Then the formula for any term in the sequence is Ao x R ^n. So R =2 so

1st term = 10 ( 2^0)= 1

2nd term = 10 (2^1) =20

3rd term = 10 (2^2)= 40

4th = 80

5th = 160

Part B

The limit as n approaches infinity for a sub n when R is 0, 1 and 2. THE LIMIT FOR R of 0, 1 and 2 is infinity.

Part C...i will have to research...sorry

igor_vitrenko [27]

Answer:

113.04 feet²

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the circle area formula, A = \pir²

Sine the diameter is 12 feet, the radius is 6 feet

Plug in 6 as r into the formula, and 3.14 as pi, then solve:

A = \pir²

A = (3.14)(6²)

A = (3.14)(36)

A = 113.04

So, the area of the circle is approximately 113.04 feet²
