In the biosphere, prey represent a food source for predators. An increase in the population of prey means more food for predator

<h2>Answer:</h2>

An increase in the population of prey means more food for predators, which will<u> increase</u> the predators' population. As a result, many more prey will be hunted, causing the prey population to<u> decrease.</u> In response, the predator population will <u>decrease</u>, resulting in an increase in the prey population.

<h3>Explanation:</h3>

The feedback loop is control of the system containing the prey and predator.

In this loop, the population of predator is directly proportional to prey but the population of prey is inversely proportional to a predators population.

As the population of prey increases, the population size of predator becomes large due to the availability of food. This inversely decreases the population of prey, as the predator do more hunt.

So the decrease in prey population results in a decrease in the predator population.

This shielding is a maximum for UV light having a wavelength of 295nanometers. What is the frequency in hertz of this particular
LUCKY_DIMON [66]

Answer:

\large \boxed{\text{1.016 $\times 10^{15}$ Hz}}

Explanation:

The formula relating the frequency (f) and wavelength (λ) is

fλ = c

1. Convert nanometres to metres

295 nm = 295 × 10⁻⁹ m

2. Calculate the frequency

\begin{array}{rcl}f \times 295 \times 10^{-9} \text{ m}& =& 2.998 \times 10^{8} \text{ m$\cdot$s$^{-1}$}\\\\f & = & \dfrac{2.998 \times 10^{8} \text{ m$\cdot$s$^{-1}$}}{295 \times 10^{-9}\text{ m}}\\\\& = &1.016 \times 10^{15}\text{ s}^{-1}\\& = &\large \boxed{\textbf{1.016 $\mathbf{\times 10^{15}}$ Hz}}\end{array}

Choose all of the secondary sources used by humans for energy !!
levacccp [35]

Answer:

Petroleum

Hydrocarbon gas liquids

Natural gas

Coal

Nuclear energy

Explanation:

These energy sources are called nonrenewable because their supplies are limited to the amounts that we can mine or extract from the earth. Coal, natural gas, and petroleum formed over thousands of years from the buried remains of ancient sea plants and animals that lived millions of years ago. That is why we also call those energy sources fossil fuels.

Most of the petroleum products consumed in the United States are made from crude oil, but petroleum liquids can also be made from natural gas and coal.

Nuclear energy is produced from uranium, a nonrenewable energy source whose atoms are split (through a process called nuclear fission) to create heat and, eventually, electricity. Scientists think uranium was created billions of years ago when stars formed. Uranium is found throughout the earth’s crust, but most of it is too difficult or too expensive to mine and process into fuel for nuclear power plants.
