Pumice is a lightweight rock that sometimes forms when lava is very rich in volcanic glass.

Explanation:

Pumice is a lightweight rock formed after cooling of lava erupted from the volcano. These rocks are composed of minerals which are present in deep underground of volcano which after eruption in high temperature and pressure comes out as lava.

As time goes the lava will get cooled down and form rocks which can be classified as igneous rocks. One of the rocks formed from lava are termed as Pumice.

Masses are stacked on top of the block until the top of the block is level with the waterline. This requires 20 g of mass. What
Kobotan [32]

Answer:

Mass of the wooden Block is 20g.

Explanation:

The buoyant force equation will be used here

Buoyant Force= ρ*g*1/2V Here density used is of water

m*g= ρ*g*1/2V

Simplifying the above equation

2m= ρ*V Eq-1

Also we know from the question that

ρ*V = m + 0.020 Eq-2 ( Density = (Mass+20g)/Volume )

Equating Eq-1 & Eq-2 we get

2m = m+0.020

m = 0.020kg

m = 20g

What force will a proton experience in a uniform electric field whose strength is 2.00 x 10^5 Newtons per Coulomb? *
Alenkasestr [34]

Answer: F =3.218 * 10^-11 N

Explanation: The relationship between electric field intensity and force is given by

F = Eq.

F= Force on electron

E = strength of electric field = 2*10^5

q= magnitude of proton charge = 1.609 * 10^-19c

F = 2* 10^5 * 1 609 * 10^-16

F = 3.218 * 10^-11 N
